While we value hard work, embrace diligence, and never sleep for fear of missing the perfect house for you… We are not annoying, invasive, or intrusive. 

We are not selfish, self-serving, wheeler dealers.
We are not out to "close you" or "sell you" on a house.
We are not out to "push product" or sell a specific number of "luxury units” this week and we will not say “yes we love it!” to every house we show you. 

We believe in connecting with you and understanding your real estate goals and concerns. We are loyal and trustworthy. We take it personally. Your goals become our goals. We like to roll up our sleeves for you and earn our commission.

We believe in educating you on our unique market and offering invaluable insight and expertise. We believe in helping you make sense of market data, and letting you make a sound objective decision with our vital oversight to maximize your future return and minimize your risk.

And while we do love popping bottles to celebrate your new home purchase… it is actually not our favorite part.  What's our favorite part you ask?  That comes a few years down the road when you decide it's time to list that handsome property. We then get the pleasure of telling you that we crushed it so hard on the Buy side that you're now going to slay it on the Sell side. So. Many. Benjis. The type of financial excess that you just want to throw on a bed and roll around in. And if we are being really honest, the vast majority of agents do not care, nor are they even capable of giving you the level of service and expertise that has become our standard.

Because of issues like flood planes, historic easements and diverse neighborhoods, Charleston is said to be one of the most complex real estate markets in the entire US. Like two works of art at an auction, seemingly similar properties in Charleston can have subtle differences that can majorly affect value and saleability. To buy in Charleston, you need someone with a depth of knowledge and a deep rolodex.  Often the best properties in Charleston sell quietly before you ever hear about them on the MLS.

While other agents may try to bum a selfie- we get it.  Our clients’ privacy and discretion is of the utmost importance and we guard it fiercely.  Many of Chasen’s clients wish to avoid the public eye at all costs and we are very sensitive to this.  For many years we have worked closely with nationally recognized business leaders, clients in the film and entertainment industries, etc. and have successfully closed these deals while keeping their identity confidential from the public.
